Information Seminars
Information seminars are the first step in learning
about the Lap Band and deciding if the Lap Band surgery
for weight loss may be right for you. The seminars typically
last about one hour with a question and answer period
after the seminar during which the doctors will answer
your questions. After the seminars we can make appointments
for people interested in going forward with the Lap
Band evaluation process and going on to surgery. We
recommend bringing your insurance card and any medical
information or records you might already have so that
we can begin to process and file it. For more information

Support groups
Our support groups are a vital component of our program.
Topics discussed during our support groups include post-operative
nutrition, exercise therapy, emotional support and adjustments.
These support groups are provided for our patients'
benefit. We also encourage patients who are about to
undergo the Lap Band procedure to attend support groups.
